Burn Permit Text Messaging Instructions

Cell Number same as Registered Phone Number

To register the start or end of your burn with Text Messaging, simply supply your Burn Permit Number on the first line of your text message

Only the Burn Permit number on a single line was texted, as this cell number matches the phone number registered at the time the Burn Permit was purchased

Notice the line starting with Thanks for letting us know... near the bottom of the image of the text conversation, that is your confirmation that your burn has been registered

Cell Number not the same as Registered Phone Number

To register the start or end of your burn with Text Messaging, supply your Burn Permit Number on the first line and the Phone Number you registered on the second line of your text message

The Burn Permit number was entered on the first line and the phone number was entered on the second line of the text message. The cell number doing the text message does not match the phone number that was registered at the time the Burn Permit was purchased

Registration of Burn During Fire Restriction

To register the start of your burn when there is a Fire Restriction in place the above rules apply plus you must confirm that you still what to register the start of the burn after reading the current Fire Restrictions
